Our Approach

Our intention is to create a unique opportunity and experience that is participatory at its core. From fishing, laughing, and learning together, to helping prepare delicious family style meals, to eating together; to sharing other duties to kindle connection without it feeling like it’s a burden or hardship. Fittingly, this is how FISHER KING FLY FISHING JOURNEYS is able to offer affordable experiences that facilitate fellowship and memories that can be recreated year after year. Our staff may float you and your group on many different stretches of the prime water on either the Madison or Yellowstone rivers, depending on fishing conditions, water levels, and the goals and desires of your group members. We can facilitate a wide range of fly fishing abilities from the newly initiated to the more experienced fly fisherman. Our goal is to empower each guest with the tools, instruction, coaching, techniques, and support/approaches needed to fully enjoy the complete experience and to gain competency.
